Dr. Pickle is a board certified Physical Therapist originally from central Maine, with over 20 years of experience. He graduated from Husson University with a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy in 2001, and returned to earn his Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2012. He was the first therapist to begin dry needling treatments in the state of Maine.

Dr. Pickle operated his own Physical Therapy Company in Maine for thirteen years with 8 locations, while also providing workplace ergonomics and early symptom intervention care for a major footwear company at their manufacturing facilities across the state of Maine. He moved to Arizona in 2017 to enjoy a milder climate and to enjoy everything the wild west has to offer.
James is an avid hiker, and is frequently seen in the McDowell Mountain range or other hiking destinations across Arizona, or driving and camping in a 1966 vintage Land Rover with his lovely wife and son.

James has a passion for diagnosing patient issues which are complex, and has eluded other clinicians. His goals of educating his patients about their conditions, in simple language, as well as tailoring their treatment to ensure they succeed is what creates an environment that is different from others. He is excited to team up with Laser Vascular Center to assist patients in reclaiming their independence, leisure activities, work performance and athletic goals so they can enjoy their lives to the fullest.
